Alex Morrison: Teacher, Assistant Principal, Coach, and Friend
Alex Morrison writes:
I became an Assistant Principal at Franklin when Peter Clentzos retired. I retired in 1986.
My wife and I have enjoyed traveling extensively by RV throughout the USA and Canada logging some 32,000 miles. Our longest trip was 14,000 miles, and lasted for almost 5 months.
At the age of 76, I water skiied in the Dominican Republic. I caught a 120 lb. Sailfish in Mexico. I Played a round of golf at age 77 and scored a 78 with back to back 39's. (Not many can play to their age!). I played on the third place Sr. Olympics Basketball team, and continue to work out at the Pasadena Senior Center.
I keep my brain exercised by solving mental math problems. I enjoy spending time in my workroom, doing wood turning on the lathe and picture framing.
I will be attending the Tour of Franklin, Dinner at Ernie Jr's, and the Reunion Dinner at Brookside.
